The women’s volleyball team was unable to secure a win Wednesday evening against the Sterling Warriors.
Despite the loss, the Lady Builders managed to stay neck and neck with Sterling and ended each set in a close race: 24-26, 23-25, 25-21.
Kayla Brackett, sophomore outside-hitter, ended the evening with 10 kills and Briley Ware, senior-middle hitter, followed close behind with 7.
This loss brings the Lady Builder’s KCAC record to 0-2. Next, they will take on the Saint Mary Dragons at 6 p.m. on September 14 at Leavenworth.
