After losing on Sept. 13 against the Spires, the Lady Builders volleyball team wanted to start winning again. They traveled to Newman University to play against the Lady Jets.

Unluckily for the Lady Builders they fell short in three sets.

The first set ended with a victory 25-18 for the Lady Jets. The second set ended with a 10 point difference 25-15. During the final set, the Lady Builders played hard, but it was not enough as they fell 25-18.

The Lady Builders are standing in a 5-5 record for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

This game made the Lady Builders to have three straight losses. The women’s volleyball team will continue the scheduled games at Stewart Field House on Sept. 17 when they host Manhattan Christian College. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m.
