Women’s soccer is off to a good start in their 2014 season. The first game of the season was played against Southwestern Assemblies of God University Friday and they won 2-0.

A corner assist by Julia Taylor, sophomore midfielder, to Sierra Meyer, senior midfielder, started the game on a positive. Southwestern was able to keep the momentum throughout the rest of the game.

Sierra Meyer also scored the second goal putting them up 2-0. With 20 minutes left, lightning was spotted and the game was called.

Their next game will be held August 31st against University of Dallas at 10 a.m. in Dallas, Texas.
