Lady Builder volleyball fell short Wednesday night in the first round of the KCAC playoffs. This loss ended their season short.

Southwestern wrapped up the year with a 10-23 record overall and 6-14 in conference play.

In their last game of the season the Lady Builders dropped to the number one ranked Coyotes of Kansas Wesleyan. Southwestern earned the win in the first game of the series but the Coyotes rallied to win the next three and take the over W.

Rachel Harper, senior setter, had a career night posting her first ever triple-double. Harper ended the match and her college career with 11 kills, 14 assists and 14 digs.

With this season coming to an end the Builders say goodbye to a few seniors. Amongst those ending their college career are Harper; Ashton Isch, outside hitter; Sarah Loesing, outside hitter; Brittaney Craddock, outside hitter; Alison Ornbaum, senior; Jacqueline Erlanson, setter; and Chasity Clark,  right side.

Despite saying good bye to a large group of seniors, volleyball should be back strong next year.
