The lawn of Warren apartments is filled with the game of Ultimate Frisbee from 2 to 4 p.m. every Sunday.

Men and women alike come to the lawn for Ultimate Frisbee. Taggart Wall, philosophy & religious studies senior, said, “It is open to anyone who shows up on Sundays to play. Sometimes people have to miss for other things on their schedule or homework, but we try to have it available for people every week.”

The organization welcomes everyone to play in a non-overwhelming game. “It is usually people from a large cross section of campus, everything from theatre to cross country to science,” said Wall.

The organization was started several years ago by four alumni of the college.

Sam McDaniel, nursing freshman, said “Everyone gets into it and everyone is really nice. Ultimate is very addicting. Once you play you will want to be there every Sunday, so yes, I will definitely be playing again.”

Players range in skill, evening the game, making it competitive. Wall said, “Amy Pierson can really throw a Frisbee and Josh Sapp, a freshmen, has got a good rhythm too with the Frisbee.”
