The Lady Builder volleyball team continued their search for their first Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference win tonight.

Traveling to Newton, the women faced Bethel College, who currently have a record of 9-13, and 3-7 in the KCAC.

Heading into tonight’s match, the Lady Builders had an overall record of 7-14 and 0-10 in the KCAC.

The Threshers claimed the first set of the night with a score of 25-9. But the Lady Builders battled back and won the second set 25-22. Bethel won the final two sets with scores of 25-22 and 25-17 respectively.

Builder volleyball will be back in action on Oct. 16 in Leavenworth against University of St. Mary at 7 p.m.
