The volleyball team headed to Hillsboro Oct. 1 to play Tabor College. They wanted to improve their record. Taylor Kinnamon, senior middle, said, “We need to learn how to win. We struggle with finishing close games. We need to be smarter on the court.”

The team lost 3-0 in the sets. “I felt good. It was fun to play even though we didn’t win because we were competing,” said Kindell Copeland, senior setter.

The first set ended 25-23 and the victory was for Tabor Bluejays. The second set and third set ended 25-20 and 25-14 respectively.

Ashley Bruno, freshman defensive specialist said, “I supported the team by helping the passers, which is also my position on angles.”

This led to a change in their record to 3-15. Their next game will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 4 against Sterling College in Stewart Field House.
