For the first time this season, the men’s soccer team came out of a game with neither a win nor a loss. The Builders tied the Ottawa Braves in their game Wednesday night 0-0 after playing in double overtime. The tie brought Southwestern’s record to 5-9-1 overall and 1-4-1 in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

Both teams struggled offensively in the scoreless affair. The Braves got off a total of 28 shots against the Builder defense, but failed to capitalize on their chances to put points on the board.

Southwestern plays their final home game of the year at 8 p.m. Oct. 23 at Richard L. Jantz Staduim in Winfield. They face off against the conference-leading Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes, who are 11-2 overall and an undefeated 6-0 in conference play.
