The Builders softball team traveled to Salina Tuesday afternoon to play a double-header against the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes.

The Ladies dropped both games to finish their season 11-20 overall and a conference record of 7-11.

The first game was a tight one all the way through the seventh inning, but the Builders came out on the bottom side of a 3-0 score line. Devan Howard, senior outfielder, and Kylea Wilson, junior infielder, both got a single hit, combining for Southwestern’s only two hits.

The second game of the double-header ended with a larger margin of victory for Kansas Wesleyan. The Builders only got two runners across home plate, but the Coyotes were able to push 10 across. As a whole, the Builders had four errors in the five innings played. The Coyotes kept a perfect game with zero errors.
