Moundbuilder soccer had a successful senior night on Oct. 3, as they shut out the Tabor Bluejays 6-0.

The game was even throughout the first half. The Moundbuilders scored an early goal by Austin Schroeder, junior forward. The Builders later scored another by Fabio Schneider, junior mid-fielder, and assisted by Jeremy Sanchez, senior defender, as the half winded down.

While the second half began, things settled until the Moundbuilders caught fire, scoring four within the last 21 minutes. Mamadou Diarra, freshman forward, was a stand-out, clinching two goals within two minutes. Diarra completed his second goal with a header as a long ball from Joshua Eibl, freshman goalkeeper, landed in perfect position.

This win was a team effort, as multiple Builders contributed. This gives the Moundbuilders a 3-2 record on Oct. 3. The Moundbuilders went on the win two more games and tie one, ending their fall season 5-2-1.
