The men’s 4×800 team, consisting of Conner Drendel, elementary education junior, Chris Copeland, psychology senior, Sam McDaniel, nursing freshman, and Carrington Crum, elementary education junior, ran to a fifth-place finish in the finals at the NAIA Indoor Track and Fields Championships on Saturday. The men ran a time of 7:41.99 to become All-Americans.

They had previously placed second in their heat in prelims to break the school record and advance to finals, where they broke the record again. That event was the only one the Builders were able to advance to finals, though several other athletes competed in events of their own.
