The volleyball team broke a seven-game losing streak and scored its first conference win tonight when the women defeated Bethany College 26-24, 26-28, 25-19 and 25-14.

It was Dig Pink Night for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the women took the court sporting pink uniforms. They came in off their most recent three-game loss to Tabor College on Saturday. Bethany, who is ranked sixth in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, had won their most recent game against Sterling College.

This makes the women 2-11 overall and 1-8 in conference play. They play next on Thursday against second-placed Bethel College. Bethel is 7-1.
