After the last match was canceled due to weather conditions, both tennis teams hosted Kansas Wesleyan on April 14. The men’s tennis teams won 8-1 while the Lady Builders fell 8-1. This victory leaves the men’s team with a 1-9 overall record and 1-1 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The women’s team is 4-6 and 0-2 in the KCAC.

The weather conditions were not the best ones to play because of strong winds. Nick Morris, sports management sophomore, said, “Given the circumstances, we just had to be prepared to play at any time.”

“The hardest part about the weather was the 40 mph winds that hit during our matches,” said Kelsey Smith, early education freshman. “We
have to be able to adjust to what comes our way.”
