The men’s soccer team played against Southwestern Assemblies of God Aug. 29.  They suffered a 1-0 loss. The only goal of the match was from a penalty kick during the last five minutes of the game.

The first half ended in a 0-0 tie. Ian Mutio, junior goalkeeper, did good job to defend his goal throughout the game.

Pera Cius, junior defense, and Joe Schwartz, senior defense, also played good defense.

When the clock marked 7:48 to go, Southwestern Assemblies of God scored the first and only goal of the game. After that, the team defended until the game over.

For their next match, the Builders will need to step up their game.

The Builders’ record was 1-16-1 and 0-9 in the KCAC in last season.
