Although a close match up, the men’s basketball team could not pull off the win over the Saint Mary Spires. The final score was 82-76 in the Spires’ favor.

Starting off strong, the Builders proved right away they were not getting on that bus for a long drive home without a fight. The Builders led by 7 within the first 5 minutes of the game but would lose the lead shortly after.

The halftime score was 42-39 Spires. The Builders stuck with them till the end with the score 76-72 Spires with 2 minutes left.

After the tough defeat, the men were on a bus shortly after for the trip home and to start preparing to face the McPherson Bulldogs at 5 p.m. on Feb. 14 in Stewart Fieldhouse.
