Going into Stewart Field House with a 4-0 home record, the men’s basketball team hosted Friend’s University on Dec. 7. The Builders lost 86-69 to their rivals, dropping their record to 6-3.

Cameron Clark, sophomore forward, led the scoring with 30 of the Builders’ 69 points and nine rebounds. Alex Tyler, senior guard, led with 6 assists.

Matt O’Brien, men’s basketball head coach, said, “I think that Friends was just a lot tougher than we were tonight, so we will need to work on being more physically tough. We also have to work on being more committed to our defense.”

Tim Miser, men’s basketball assistant coach, said “We need to take a look at a lot of stuff on film, to get refocused on our processes and get tougher mentally. We need to stay fresh through finals so we can move into these next two games on the road.”

The men’s basketball team will go to Salina, Kans. to face Kansas Wesleyan Dec. 12 at 8 p.m..
