The Builder men basketball team took on the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. in Stewart Field House. Although the Builders led at the half 42-36, the Eagles gained control in the second half, winning by a close finish of 88-85. The Builders have a combined season record of 21-5, and 14-4 in KCAC play. The Builders are ranked sixth, and this loss is the team’s third loss in a row.

Southwestern’s top scorer was DJ Wallace, senior forward, with 21 points. Cameron Hunt, junior guard, led the Builders in rebounds with 7. LaJuan Hardy, freshman guard, led the team in assists with six.The Builders will travel to Leavenworth on Wednesday. They will play the University of Saint Mary at 8 p.m. inside the Ryan Sports Center.
