The women’s soccer team found themselves on the losing end of an overtime affair against the McPherson Bulldogs Wednesday night in McPherson. The Bulldogs outlasted the Builders 1-0 in overtime, dropping the women to 1-14-1 overall and 0-7-1 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Despite only scoring once on the Builders, McPherson was able to get off 29 shots and 15 shots on goal throughout the game. The team was led by Haley Cook, senior forward, who finished with seven shots and five shots on goal. Amanda Aragon, senior midfielder, followed closely with seven shots and three shots on goal. Stachea Perea, junior midfielder, scored the goal in overtime to give the Bulldogs the win.

The Builders play their final game of the year at 1 p.m. Saturday at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth. It will be the final game for seniors Rachel Muth, goalie, Danielle Carr, goalie, Alejandra Rojas, defender, and Jamie Harkness, defender.
