The women’s soccer team traveled to Bethel this Saturday. They came home with another win to boost their record to 6-6-2.

Although a win, the coaches are looking at the things they need to work on to prepare for Ottawa.

“The key thing (for this game) was to control the tempo,” Deb Jenkins, assistant soccer coach.

The women came out strong and controlled the tempo from the beginning winning the game 2-1. Vanessa Paredes, junior midfielder, and Katie Frank, sophomore midfielder, scored their only goals.

Jenkins said their next practice will focus on starting the game with intensity from the beginning.

Their next game will be against Ottawa Oct. 22 at 5 pm at Jantz Stadium.
