The Lady Builder soccer team suffered a tough 1-0 loss on the road Friday evening.

The women’s team managed to shut down Tabor Lady Blue Jays’ offense during the first 45 minutes of the match. The lone-goal of the match was scored by midfielder Amy Vaughan off a corner kick. The goal came during the second half with a little bit over 25 minutes to go.

After the goal, the Lady Builders tried to respond but their efforts were worthless as the Lady Blue Jay goalkeeper.

Southwestern dominated with 10 goals which six were on target. Tabor only had four shots in the entire game and only half of them on target.

The Lady Builders now stand 1-2 in the conference. The team will try to secure a victory on their next game hosting Bethany on Oct. 16.
