The Lady Builders basketball team took on the Avila Eagles to kick off the 11th annual Tara Patterson Memorial Classic at 7pm in Stewart Field House. The Lady Builders were up at half time 39 to 33. After half, the Lady Builders strung together a great series of defensive plays and offensive relays. Jessica Hobbs was the top scorer with 28 points going 9 for 15 total shots and 7 for 13 in the 3 point range helping the Builders to their victory over Avila 73-64.

Dave Denly, Athletics Director and Head Women’s Basketball Coach said, “We played with a lot of energy and shot well from the perimeter. Our overall quickness and ability to push the ball played in our favor.”

Snagging rebounds and team hustle lead to the Lady Builders victory.The Lady Builders will play the Indians of Haskell Indian Nations for day 2 of the Tara Patterson Memorial Classic at 3pm Nov. 9 in Stewart Field House.
