The Lady Builders followed up their win against Kansas Wesleyan on Jan. 21 with a loss against reigning KCAC champions Tabor by a count of 57-69. The game was a rematch of the KCAC championship game from 2014, and the outcome was much the same.

Despite 14-point performances by Montana Rickey, senior forward, and Jordan Hobbs, senior guard, the Lady Builders couldn’t capitalize on the road against the Bluejays. Tiffany Rieger, sophomore guard, Jessica Hobbs, senior guard, Jana Reichenberger, junior forward, also added 8 points to the Moundbuilder total.

The road loss brings the Lady Builders’ overall record to 12-8 and KCAC record to 6-4. They take to the court again at home against Sterling College on Jan. 28 at 6:00 p.m.
