The Lady Builders earned a tough away win Saturday afternoon at the Wilson Field House at Ottawa. Moundbuilders defeated the Braves of Ottawa 75-68.

The Builders shot 53.3 percent from the field compared to the Braves 31.7 percent.

Southwestern led the entire game. Reserve Jessica Hobbs, junior guard, led the Builders with 18 points. Jordyn Miller, freshman forward, chipped in 12, too, for a combined 30 points off the bench.

Starters Jordan Hobbs, senior guard, and Montana Rickey, senior forward, both put up double digits with 13 and 11 scoring, respectively.

With only 18 minutes, Jana Reichenberger, junior forward, worked tough for 14 points and 6 rebounds.

Southwestern is 14-8 in regular season.

The next game for the Lady Builders starts 6 p.m. Thursday in historic Stewart Field House. Southwestern will battle the Swedes of Bethany for the fourth annual “Think Pink” game. The “Think Pink” game aims to raise awareness for breast cancer. Help show your support by wearing pink.
