For the second time in three games, the Lady Builders took their opponent to the cleaners by 30 plus points. The team won 81-48 Thursday evening in North Newton against the Bethel College Lady Threshers. The win moves Southwestern up in the Kansas Collegiate Athletics Conference standings to a tie for second with Tabor College, who lost Thursday against conference-leading Friends University 42-34.

The Lady Builders win on the road was thanks to a plethora of sharpshooters. Zefiryn Bryan, junior forward, led the team in both points and rebounds with 22 and nine. Jessica Hobbs, sophomore guard, followed with 20 points and six rebounds. Sheri Zoglmann, junior guard, hit three consecutive threes in the second half and finished with 14 points.

Southwestern travels to Leavenworth Saturday to take on the University of Saint Mary Lady Spires. It is the final regular season game and tips off at 5 p.m. from the Ryan Sports Center.
