The match went quickly for the Lady Builders falling to three sets 25-11, 25-10, and 25-13. Tabor is ranked among the top teams in the KCAC and was a difficult opponent for the Lady Builders.

“We knew going into tonight’s match that it would be a competitive one,” said Adrienne Vieyra senior middle blocker.

Donnie Wallace, head volleyball coach, said, “We are very excited to see how our girls matched up against one of the top teams in our conference.  We lost, but it was nice to see how we competed and see what we could be.”

It was a learning experience and showed the Lady Builders are capable of competing with a top contender of the KCAC conference.

“I think mentally we were ready to play Tabor. We just haven’t quite found our chemistry on the court yet,” said Eden Denney assistant volleyball coach.

There is a lot of season left for the Lady Builders. Their next match will be against Saint Mary of Omaha, Nebraska Sep. 6. 3 p.m. at Omaha.
