With a little bit over 300 miles on them and an outrageous 95 degree temperature on the field, the Lady Builder soccer team fell short to NCAA Div. III University of Dallas on their first ever match against them. The Lady Builders added their first loss to their 2014 season after a 1-0 decision on Aug. 31.

Despite out shooting and having the ball more, the Lady Builders couldn’t decode their opponent’s defense. The solitary goal came during the 55th minute mark when Sydney Striling beat freshman goalkeeper, Olyvia Bish.

The team will return to action on Sept. 6 when they host Southwestern Christian Eagles. Kick-off is set at 6:30 p.m. at the Richard L. Jantz Stadium.
