Southwestern ended regular conference play securing the No. 2 seed after falling against Kansas Wesleyan 78-68 on their last game. Tabor College Lady Bluejays clinched the title with a 15-3 record.

The Lady Builders host the first round of the conference tournament against Bethel on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. inside Stewart Field House. Southwestern lost in their first game of the season against Bethel 64-58 but managed to win the second one just last Thursday Feb. 19 at home 78-75.

It was a tough game in Salina for the Lady Builders as they struggle against the Lady Coyotes. Southwestern shot 37 percent field goals against 46 percent from Kansas Wesleyan. The Lady Builders also came shy on the three-point line scoring 34 percent versus 52 percent.

Jana Reichenberger, junior forward, led the team in stats with 16 points and six rebounds.

The Lady Builders end regular season holding a 13-5 KCAC record and 19-9 overall.
