After a nine hour drive, the Lady Builders volleyball team arrived to Denver, Colo., to play the Wildcat Invitational. Their first game was against the hosting team Johnson & Wales. The game started at 1 p.m.

The Lady Builders started off the tournament on the right foot as they defeated the Lady Wildcats 3-1.

Twenty-six to 24 was how the first set ended for the Lady Builders. The second set was won as well by 25-18, and on the third set they fell 25-15.

In an incredible last set, the Lady Builders managed to win 26-24.

With this victory under the belt, the volleyball team now has a 7-6 record in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

The Lady Builder volleyball team will continue playing in the tournament tomorrow at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. For the first game they will face Fort Hays Lady Tigers. Their next game will be against Embry-Riddle Lady Eagles.
