The Lady Builders volleyball team faced a tough matchup in Wednesday night’s game. Travelling to face the Warriors of Sterling College, the Builders were up for a difficult game. The Warriors hold a KCAC record of 3-0.

Head volleyball coach, Donnie Wallace, commented on Wednesday night’s game. With the scores of 25-22 in the first set, 52-16 in the second set and 25-13 in the third, the Lady Builders put a good fight. Wallace said, “The girls are came ready to play and has played some of the best volleyball they ever played. After the first two sets, it was hard for the ladies to keep their poise,” said Wallace.

The remainder of the season Wallace hopes the team continues to play some of the best volleyball they possibly can. “We are a young team with great talent,” said Wallace. “We just need to find our consistency.” Without letting the loss to the Warriors stop them, the Builders are headed to Denver, Colo. to face the NCAA Division II team Johnson & Wales University.
