Builder volleyball lost to the Sterling Warriors in Stewart Field House on Dig Pink breast cancer awareness night. The Lady Builders won the second set with a score of 25-21, but lost the first, third and fourth set respectively, 25-10, 25-12 and 25-12.

Rachel Vieyra, freshman right side hitter, said, “We have times where we play hard but we need to make sure we carry that over to the next set.”

The second set is where the Lady Builders had the most energy as a team. “We came out on fire the second game and that brought us the energy as a team,” said Kaley Rodriguez, senior defensive specialist.

The Lady Builders are going back to work in preparing for their next match. Donnie Wallace, head volleyball coach, said, “We really need to work on our passing and pressure situations.”

The team will be in action Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. in Stewart Field House where they will host the Ottawa Braves.
