Jessica Hobbs, sophomore guard, was named Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Hobbs has played a major role in the Lady Builders last two wins.
In an 81-48 win over Bethel College, Hobbs had 20 points and 6 rebounds. The team got an 86-54 win on Saturday after a long bus trip to St. Mary. Hobbs had 17 points in this outing. On average, she had 18.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in the week. Hobbs rounded out the week with 9 rebounds, 5 assists and two steals. She also shot 52 percent from the field.
Hobbs joined the list of Lady Builders to earn this reward. Zefiryn Bryan has won it twice and Jana Reichenberger once.
You can catch Hobbs and the rest of the team in action this Friday as they take on McPherson at home at 7 p.m.
