R.J. Jarrett, senior guard, earns the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball player of the week award. Jarrett scored 34 points and snatched 21 rebounds in two games this week, both wins for the Builders.

In Thursday’s matchup against the fifth ranked McPherson Bulldogs, Jarrett scored 16 points and grabbed ten rebounds. The Builders took out the KCAC’s leading team in convincing fashion 78-58.

The Builders then knocked off Kansas Wesleyan 88-84 in Saturday’s game at Stewart Field House. Jarrett scored 18 points and hadeleven rebounds, for his second consecutive double-double.

Jarrett averaged 17 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game this week and shot 46.4 percent from the field.

The Builders move to 15-2 overall and 5-1 in conference play heading into Thursday’s action at Ottawa University.
