Cameron Clark, sophomore forward, scored his 1000th career point with the Builders and helped them secure their seventh conference victory. The Builders were never behind and dominated the Blue Jays from tip-off.
The Builders shot 49 percent from the paint and 31 percent from long-range. This helped Southwestern stay in the lead throughout the game. As for free-throws, the Builders went 19 for 32.
Clark and William Tisdale, junior forward, led the Builders on offense. Clark netted 26 points and Tisdale had 12 boards.
With this victory the Builders stand in sixth place with a 7-9 record in the KCAC. The team expects to increase their record on Feb. 20 when the hit the road and face Ottawa at 8 p.m.
