The women’s cross country team placed third in the KCAC championship meet with 87 points. Kansas Wesleyan took home the conference championship with 83 points. Ottawa University followed the Lady Coyotes. Kelsey Buffum, secondary eductation sophomore, finished first for the Builders with a time of 19:08.73., Buffum was the third runner to finish the race.

The men’s cross country team placed second with 48 points. Saint Mary Spires defeated the Builders by seven points. Colton McNinch, biochemistry and biology senior, lead Southwestern timing 25:47.7
