The men’s basketball team moves on to 5-0 after a solid 92-72 win over Ozark Christian.

Taylor Johnson, freshman guard, led the team with 15 points all from 3 pointers. William Tisdale, sophomore forward, chipped in 14 points, while Cameron Clark, freshman forward, Tyler Shirley, junior guard, and Michael Morales, senior forward, added 10 points each.

Larry Vasquez, sophomore point guard, said the key to the win was getting stops and rebounding well.

Caydrick Bloomquist, junior guard, said, “l felt like we ran the floor really well tonight, we got out in transition.”

The team shot 48.7% from the field and 40% from the three-point line. Out of the 11 free throws attempted from the team, only eight went in.

Clark said.”Transition defense needs to be improved for next game.”

The team is now undefeated after five straight wins, four of them at home.

Bloomquist said, “I give it all up to the team chemistry. We wouldn’t have these many wins if we weren’t playing as a team.”

The Builders look to change their record to 6-0 as they take on Haskell Indian Nations University next. That game will be at 2 at Haskell on November 10.

Haskell searches for their first win as they are currently 0-2 on the season.
