Builder men thrashed the Coyotes of Kansas Wesleyan Wednesday night by a score of 76-52 in Stewart Field House. The Builders winning streak stays alive at 4-in-a-row.
Standout Cameron Clark, junior forward, achieved a double-double. Clark led Southwestern with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
Southwestern shot a staggering 40% from the 3-line converting 6-15. The Coyotes shot 20%, shooting 4-20.
Overall field goal percentage leaned in Southwesterns favor. The Moundbuilders shot 47.1% from the floor compared to 29.3% for the Coyotes.
Free throws accounted largely for the point deficit reached by the Builders. The Builders shot 29 free throws during the contest at 75.9%.
Southwestern will travel to Hillsboro Wednesday night to face the Tabor College Bluejays. The battle begins at 7 p.m. inside Tabor Gymnasium.
