The men’s soccer team clinched their first point in the conference after they tied Bethel Threshers 0-0. Both teams fought hard during the regular time and had to play 20 minutes of extra time.

Bethel out shot the Builders with 24 shots and half of them on target. Southwestern had 10 with 4 going to the goal. Cullen Grantham, junior goalkeeper, saved the Builders in 12 different occasions. With this tie, the Builders stand 0-4-1 in the KCAC and hope to get back on a winning streak against Ottawa. The Builders will receive the Braves on Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Richard L. Jantz Stadium.
