Builder football suffered a hard loss this weekend against Saint Mary’s with a score of 45-7.

Starting the game, the Builders were down 10-0 with 4:11 to play on the first quarter. “We just didn’t show up to play. We were flat,” said Lorenzo Fouts, cornerback.

“After half-time we started to gain our momentum back but we just could catch up” said Tyler Crandall, quarterback.

“This was overall just a bad game. There weren’t any specific plays or players that helped us out, it was an overall bad game for the entire team,” said Ken Crandall, head coach.

The team plans to pick where they are and prepare for next week. Fouts said that KWU is a different team; we just have to prepare to play against them now.

Football will host Kansas Wesleyan University Oct. 27at 1:30pm.
