The Lady Builders never dropped the lead during the KCAC playoff championship game. They went on an early 5-0 run during the first minutes of the game. Friends University Lady Falcons fail to overcome the score and ended up losing 74-59.

The team has secured a spot in the NAIA DII Women’s Basketball National Tournament and will play in Sioux City, Iowa. Southwestern will know their fate on Wednesday March 4th when they announce the bracket for the National Tournament.

Jordan Hobbs, senior guard, guided the team to the title posting 22 points. Jana Reichenberger, junior forward, followed with 18 points and led the boards with 16 rebounds. The team shot 37 percent from the paint and 20 from long range.

The Lady Builders end their KCAC play holding a 13-5 record and a 22-9 overall.
