On Wednesday, March 23, a Kevin Frady, head baseball coach, notified the team that their midweek non-conference match-up against Oklahoma Panhandle State will be rescheduled for April 7 due to rainy weather.

Dylan Navarette, left-handed pitcher and business junior, offers his insight on the recent changes to the schedule and weather cancellations.

“There’s not much we can do, our field isn’t playable right now because of the weather. We have a conference series this weekend, so that’s what we’re looking ahead to,” Navarette said.

The Builder Baseball team looks ahead to a weekend series welcoming the Ottawa Braves for a three-game series on April 27, doubleheader starting at noon and April 28, game starting at 1p.m.

Overlooking the upcoming weekend, Mike McCoy, athletic director, shares some overview on field conditions and weather.

“We should be expecting 69 degrees on Saturday, playable field conditions are still a question mark,” McCoy said.
