Two Southwestern athletes earn Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track Athletes of the Week after competing in the Oklahoma Christian Invitational Saturday at the University of Oklahoma.

Colton Siler, psychology senior, placed first in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.91 seconds. His mark not only earns him an automatic qualification for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Indoor Track and Field Championships, but ties a school record. He earns the men’s indoor track athlete of the week.

Mandy Bostwick, elementarty education senior, earns her second consecutive women’s indoor field athlete of the week. She threw for a distance of 37′ 10.75″ in the shot put event, which earned her fifth place at the meet. She is now in the top position in the KCAC in shot put. In the 20# weight throw, Bostwick placed thrid with a distance of 38′ 5.5″.
